Value V Worth

So much could be said in conversation. We could speak of utility as replacing or a consideration of a persons value and completely miss their worth. Who would've known that some of the greatest artists and leaders had special needs which would have detracted from their utility or value...or...did it if their worth was discovered despite their physical condition. We learn of value in the Western World according to utility unfortunately. However, their worth is left undiscovered or perhaps undiscoverable by those with "higher education" who define humanity according to utility rather than value.

It is God who works all things together for the good of those who love Him...not science, nor any categorization thereof.

We deceive ourselves, and our neighbors next door, across the street and around the world by treating them according to their utility rather than their innate value, Given them...by Our Creator. Jesus is the light of mankind...his very, our very life. Would it not follow that Life is therefore the value and not the utility? Leviticus 19:14 "'Do not speak a curse against a deaf person or place an obstacle in the way of a blind person; rather, fear your God; I am ADONAI.

15 "'Do not be unjust in judging - show neither partiality to the poor nor deference to the mighty, but with justice judge your neighbor." (Complete Jewish Bible) I would encourage you to read the whole chapter. Within Value is honor shown to the Creators ultimate creation of mankind....in every place in society, poor or rich, normal or special. If we do, we are surely treating each other according to utility rather than value and diminishing not only their, but our own worth to each other...in the womb, and out of it.
