The Greatest Poetry
Men fled
Women too
Children in the womb
And after birth
We, the people
Searching for truth in freedom
The place of liberty
Of honor and respect
Of love of... Life
From conception
Of God and His Christ
From eternity
The place of pursuit
In repentant awe
In prayer, humility
Seeking God Face
Rather than just an... Inscription
But if scripted
A Poem with life
That does not stop
Nor have an ending
America, the greatest poetry
Of nations and freedom
Prayer, humility, seeking
Because poetry does all that
And pursued the Eternal One
Slain... Before, the foundation
Of the world
Let alone America
And the earth is His
And the fullness
The gold and silver
Are His and He gives
Life and abundance
But there is also
Struggles as poetry
But revelation of poetry
From the poetic
Poetry of a full life
As an overcome
A more than a conqueror
Poets of a higher knowledge
Who paid a higher price
And still do
They trust the Eternal... More
For the temporal is the struggle
And the Eternal pursuit
The abundance
America, the greatest poetry
Said Walt Whitman
Though a poem may complete
Poetry is forever
Writing itself
Written limitedly by the
Pens of men
But revealed by The Word
Jesus is The Word
And His image on the Cross
The most profound
Telling a story... Not yet complete
But when He does
Roll up the scroll
Will poetry cease
America and nations may
But the Eternal Christ
An heir...of God
His followers...co-heirs
Life forever
And poetry
?Without struggle.
Turned to complete joy
Because He, and we
Experienced life together
And now, poetry of the Kingdom
Of the Eternal
Where sighing and crying and death
Are no more
But poetry continues
In a world without end
Because these remain
Faith, hope and love
Where America began
And must return
The greatest poetry.
