Blaming, Accusations...Paid in Full
“The core of victim-blaming is that we don’t want to feel out of control,” she says, since being victimized – or learning that someone else was victimized – threatens to shatter the illusion that we’re always in control of what happens to us; and it runs counter to a notion rooted deeply in our society, Engel says. “Fighting for our freedom, being independent, fighting against someone controlling us – we have a whole history of that.” (Schroeder)
This is the story of humanity. In Blame is condemnation and accusation and shifting of blame...away from ourselves. Yet, Jesus Christ took the Blame for our sin. He became the accused, the condemned, and the blame was shifted to Him upon the cross, the execution stake and was sacrificed. He TOOK...OUR BLAME!! We can release control, even the need to feel in control, the thought of being a victim, our fighting for freedom to sin as we are freed from it. Sin is the habit, His patience is the love that will take from victimization to victory, from us being in control to relinquishing control to the One who took Our Blame. Turn to Jesus...Repent to consolation, comfort, renewel, nourishment, true freedom. Trust in Jesus, right now. Say it with your voice, with your sign language, with your art, with your pen in a journal, to another, to that...or this ministry. Oh...it doesn't take YOU jumping through hoops. It only take a decision to say..YES...to Jesus. Repentance brings freedom, regret keeps you in guilt. God wants you FREE!! Say Yes!! He Loves...YOU...yes, others, but He left the 99...for YOU!! Say Yes!! May the Lord grant you...yes, and peace.
Love is the answer, repentance is the call.
