Let's Not Forget...
As we come closer to Christmas day, in which we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us not forget that Christ was, is and will be a life giving spirit...though He was born in the flesh, and He DID live among us for a while, and He DID die on a criminal's stake, but He also rose again and LIVES. Though his birthdate is tainted by about 9 months, His reality, influence and impact was worldwide and continues to impact and influence. How could the eternal do anything less?
In that, lets' remember those among us. Let's remember those who we have estranged ourselves from, those who have become estranged, those who fought for freedom and are today, homeless, remember a brother or sister fallen, or memories of loved ones lost to death. We who grieve because of loss. Those in nursing homes, etc. Homeless mothers...AND fathers. Homeless---children!
Remember the joyous celebration, yes, but it was kind of like a soldier coming to take on the enemy who no one else could deal with but still had to be dealt with. His name is Jesus, Savior, Lord, Adonai, Lion of the tribe of Judah...I AM. Let us not forget to shout His praises and share His joy with others...we knew, know or perhaps never met. Let us not forget to LOVE as He did and still does. Love always.
Love is the answer, repentance is the call.
