Yes...Write

Let's say, right now, you are in the gate of the most intense...or the most difficult...or the most (whatever your life may be) incidental and random horse race of life. Are you ready? Have you prepared? Did you take notes or memory snap shots? Get ready...get set...

(Has anyone ever told you to "write it down"? In your mind you think...I'll remember or I'll write it down later...maybe "I'll never forget that, it'll be with me forever" or things similar. You might even entertain...well you ARE a writer and I'm not. I've thought all those things and I am not "trained" in writing, but I write...mostly poetry and hopefully you will read the one posted here. I don't often write from a palace place but from a journeyed one. My spoon to eat with has not been silver, but has been the tips of my fingers or just water to cup in my hand and drink...or open my mouth for the rain to help quench my thirst...in a dry and weary land...a desert if you will, while I look for life around me and things to write about. But most of the time, you don't have to look or experience a special thing, or fantastic or everyone will want to hear about THIS...thing, so write anyway...someone will need it...but how can you meet the need if you don't write it?

Israel's beloved King David was undone in the desert/field as a servant AND in the palace as a king. The famed Apostle Paul worshiped God in the dungeon (the lowest part), the streets, and the palace as a prisoner or a guest.

I am undone

In this desert

Wandering, hoping, looking for

A city whose God is the Lord

I am undone

In this presence

In this vision of

The Almighty

Where wandering, hoping and looking

Is found, but continued

To become--like---My Father

Where I become the city or the path

I was looking for...or on

And I remain

Undone as long as I fix my gaze

Upon the prize of

Intimacy with You (Jesus)

And the world, and yours

SEE----YOU!

Themselves becoming----

Undone and Saved and Yours

Writing is not about whether you are trained to write, or ever write well. It is not per se a "skill" although it is a skill, just like driving or using the internet is not per se a "skill" although it is a skill. It's just something you do and whether you are in the best time...or the worst time of your life...YOU

WRITE

Love is the answer, Repentance is the call
