Stirring the Proverbial Pot
Toward the end of January 2017 I was at a church in Austell GA, where I had rehearsed some poetry into the ears of those who attended a "5th Sunday Sing Out". During the Service I attended and as the pastor was speaking (Michael Crawford), "I saw a soup pot being stirred and ingredients ADDED. Some had sunk to the bottom of the pot. The stirring was necessary to release the FULL fragrance to catch the Lord's attention. When it rose in FULL strength and completeness He breathed it in and smiled and said..."It is almost ready". The time of the vision and its completion is not the same. There is still an adding and a "full" strength SO, the pot must continue to be "stirred". It will NOT only be a "corporate" stirring, but it MUST be individual as well. When we each one learn to rely on Holy Spirit and ourselves being repentant and obedient, THEN we can be "corporate" and one in "our" pursuit. These things must take place. The steam of the soup is the fragrance leaving the substance. It is a vapor, but what remains can and will feed multitudes. You must decide to be stirred and PRESS, even labor for it, like a woman in childbirth. Some will write, but that is not it. Others will have visions and record them, but that is not it. Many will speak in tongues, but those are only ingredients to make the fragrance pleasing. The pleasing is in the repentance, the acknowledgement that we had wandered but we've returned with the humility of the prodigal. Father won't miss a beat, but there is no place where the son demanded. He was simply received and rejoiced over and himself received clothing fit for a son. The fragrance was much better than that of pig slop and the father was pleased...even excited.
Humility, pray, seek His face AND repent...THEN
