Victors Overcome--Themselves
As I was driving to a church I attend I thought about the "army" we hear so much about "in the church". The army that is or is going to arise--as though they are looking for the "strong" or perfect, perhaps steroid fed christian and yet we neglect the veterans who've fought, who were or are themselves wounded and as though they have nothing left to give. I BEG TO DIFFER!! Many of US have fight in us that won't quit and if it does, we have experience and strategies so deep and a mindset so set that not even the scattering of our flesh can separate it from US. WE ARE WARRIORS, VALIANT, MEN---0f---VALOR. The Victims among us are in waiting for the Victors to value US and recognize our worth--even though we know it and they do not. You see if we "victims" as some deem us were to join the fight regardless of you, it may give the enemy a tactic to use against you and we don't want that because we know how damaging that can be to an army. Division without and now within.
I wept on the way to the church because I just want to be a part of the army God IS raising up. However it is not going to be the army they are preaching at church's. The real army is coming from valley of dry bones. It is coming from the battlefield of those THOUGHT slain--for good. The "victims" if you will whom THEIR God is going to prophesy to and raise up because the prophets are not prophesying to the dry bones. I could see Davids small army of valient warriors who fought. I could see Uriah the Hittite who gave no thought to his own comfort or his own flesh to please it while his brethren were out on the battlefield. His thoughts were selfless and, while not to die but to fight, were with the imaginations of what can I do to help my brothers and here I am in safety and peace on the outside. The peace Uriah desired however was an inner peace to know he was in the fight with his brethren and for the kingdom. You see, it was the "victim" leader that put Uriah at the front lines KNOWING he could not handle the pressure and actually hoping he could not. Uriah did not become a victim of the king that day because with an attitude and life like he led there was only a victor in him.
You see, many want to re-engage or to engage but are withheld or called back because of the judgment of a person or group of people. If you are not being allowed to share your testimony of Jesus in your church or the gift God has given you then you might want to think about becoming the victor by moving it outside the church not holding any offense toward that church, pastor, leadership, etc. You see, you can be a victor without having the appearance of having overcoming anyone but yourself and then moving in what God has called you to do. If you want a "brethren" with you, let me know and maybe we can get together; over the phone, on the internet (email, facebook) and we can encourage one-another. God bless you--but Move...
